I recently created a new score, but decided to change the instruments in it. So, I opened a new score and used the correct instruments and spent about 7 hours working on it before saving. However, when I opened the project again today, the original score (with the wrong instruments) opened instead of the one I made with the correct instruments. I opened the document in my computer folder and looked at the file properties, and it said I created it today instead of when I actually created it (yesterday at about 5:00 PM). I'm not sure if something went wrong when I saved over the original document, but I would appreciate some insight.

Comments

Assigned is for the person who will fix the bug, which I don't expect you will do.

Did you use the Recent Scores to find the file you worked 7 hour on or did you look for it by name in the Open Score menu.

Please use the support forum to ask for help in using MuseScore; there are many more people who will be able to help you there.

You must have saved your score in some folder other than the one you intended to. Do a search of your computer hard drive and it should turn up. On Windows, be sure to include the Virtual Store under your AppData folder. If you continue to have trouble, when you to the forum, include more details about your system (what OS, what folder you believe you saved to, whether the system crashed at any point during this process, etc).
