Unable to close Edit Name window
1. Open attached score (produced in 1.3).
2. Right-click bar.
3. 'Staff Properties...'.
4. Click on '...'.
Result: The 'Edit Name' window appears, but there is no way to close it.
Workaround: For Mac, right-click the icon in the dock, 'Quit' and 'Cancel' in order to re-access the score.

Unless you know of the workaround, I would consider this 'Critical'.
Opinions?
I think after closing the application (possibly via 'Force Quit'), a crash log appeared.
I can not reproduce this on the latest nightly using MacOS 10.8.5. Can you do a retest?
I think he is saying there is no "Close" (or OK/Apply/Cancel) button, so you have to use the "X" or whatever button your OS provides to close this particular window (the edit instrument name dialog). That much is definitely still true, but it seems very minor to me. Wouldn't anyone who owns a computer know how to close windows?
The resource manager window too doesn't have an OK button and needs to get closed by the corresponding element in the upper left corner of the window (under Windows, no idea how it looks and work on Mac)
I can't reproduce, but I think the problem at the time may have been that x had no effect.

I added OK and Cancel buttons to the TextEditor, which the Edit Name dialog is. Now it is possible to actually cancel an edit, and it seems more intuitive. Fix in https://github.com/musescore/MuseScore/pull/1159
