Musescore V:2.0.0 Revision 1ac5773

I might be missing something here, but the shortcut keys for loop in/out ( [,]) do not work in the version I am using.

Loop In/Out can only be set from the play panel.

This is an inconvenience rather than a problem.

Comments

The keys are : Shit+I for the In position and Shift+O for the Out position. Shift+L to activate/desactivate the loop feature.

No, the shift+I/O or shift+L combinations do not work at all in the version I have. Tried them all including with combination of ctrl or alt. Nothing!

Even if I switch on the loop feature with the play panel, shift+I/O still does not work.

What do I need to do to demonstrate the problem to you?

The only way to do it is through the play panel.

Standard US-keyboard. No changes.

No changes to the supplied shortcuts file - but I found that the actual keys had not been defined. I clicked on "reset to default" on both in and out which gave me shift+i, shift+o.

Loop play shortcut keys now working exactly as you describe.

So the problem is simply that the initial settings in the shortcut file for loop in/out are not defined.

I do not know if this is your intention, but if the defaults are to be what you say, then the shortcuts file needs to be amended on the git to have them initialized correctly. I don't think you want my big stubby fingers too near that!!

Good to hear it now works.

Have you in the past customized some shortcuts of your MuseScore installation (not related to loops)? I think customized shortcuts are stored in a local user folder, and MuseScore grab that file first (even the initial file has been updated on git).

Status (old) active needs info

It could also be an older configuration, before the loop feature even exists. If it's the case, the bug can be marked as fixed.

Yes, my configuration has been around for a long time, certainly before the loop feature was introduced, so I concur that the bug can be marked as fixed.
