Gap between Lutes
1. 'Create Score'.
2. At the instrument step, choose 'All Instruments'.
3. Add the first 'Lute' and 'Lute [Tablature]'.
4. 'Finish'.
Result: There is a gap between Lutes.
Using MuseScore 2.0 Nightly Build (30e0623) - Mac 10.7.5.

You mean a larger than normal gap, don't you?
Also it is lacking the TAB clef, but has a time sig (Guitar TAB doesn't have a time sig)
The latter might be due to staff type being tab6StrFrench (vs. tab6StrCommon)?
That may also be the cause for the former, as changing to tab6StrCommon makes the gap disappear.

Yes, larger than normal.
To understand the proportion, just add other instruments.
About the clef for 'Lute [Tablature]', I think I had noticed about two months ago, but didn't do anything.
By default, it is unticked in the 'Tab. 6-str French' entry in 'Staff Types…'.
So the latter is not a bug, but by design.
I guess the former is too, this extra space seems needed for the note symbols above staff?
Or the marks above lines rather than on lines (might explain 0.5 sp extra space)
Or the different and slightly larger font for the marks?
Fixed in 3.5.2 (and probably well before).
