two instruments for one system, one instrument for the rest?

How do I add an instrument to only the first line of music?
I'm looking to add ukulele tablature to only the first line, and the rest should just be standard notation.

Add it, enter the notes, than use 'Hide empty staves', see https://musescore.org/en/handbook-formatting/layout-and-formatting#styl…
You will need to start with a ukulele and add a staff that is NOT linked. You can add the notes to the tablature by copying from the notes staff to the tablature on the measures you want to remain visible. Finally, In the Style->General... menu check Hide empty staves and only the tablature measures with notes will be visible.
