Create tuplets on dotted rests leads to corruption
Version 2.1, 2.2 dev. Fixed in current 3.0 dev. / Windows 10
1) "Untitled" score
2) Select a whole rest
3) Type 5 and a dot (.) to receive a dotted quarter rest
4) Ctrl + 3
5) Type four eight notes (and only for the display, a half note to complete the measure)
You get: (the test file at this step: test file.mscz )
6) Save/Close/Reload
7) Cut the tuplets
8) Save/Close/Reload
Result: corruption: test file cut.mscz
- Same issue with a compound-time signature, eg 6/8, by creating a duplet on a quarter note -> Save -> Cut -> Save (see same attached file)

I suspect this will turn out to be related to #202271: Copy-paste sextuplets/octuplets and their removal leads to corruption. There is a similar aspect of their being a fraction created that is actually reducible. That is, sextuplets are 6/4 which reduces to 3/2. Triplets on a dotted note are 3/3 which reduces to 1. Duplets on a quarter note results in 2/2 which is also 1.
You are right. After checking, this issue appears at the same time, ie https://musescore.org/en/node/202271#comment-719036
In fact, I can not reproduce it even in MuseScore 2.3.2. Still perhaps I am doing something wrong here.
Can you reproduce it in 2.2 or 2.1 (like in a portable app)? If you can there, but not in in 2.3, I guess we can consider it fixed
Fixed in 2.2.1
Thanks for checking!
