Incorrect non-standard Figured Bass positioning when opening 2.x score in master

The figured bass should be positioned below the bottom staff. In 2.3.1, it is. In OS: Windows 7 SP 1 (6.1), Arch.: i386, MuseScore version (32-bit): 3.0.0, revision: e98043a, it looks like this:

The root of the problem is that I am using non-standard FB symbols. I am using FB for Roman numeral analysis. Normal FB with only figures are positioned correctly, but as soon as I start using 'V' and 'I' and other characters not normally used in FB, it works in 2.x, but breaks in master.
