Play Mode question

My song has a bunch of volta brackets. When I click on a note and press the space bar to initiate play mode, it always starts in the first verse (repetition) of the song. How can I tell it to start at that note in the second or third repetition of the score?
It's a song with long verses and each verse is slightly different with the voltas there to tell Play Mode which iteration(s) to use for each one. It works fine if I let it play all the way through all three iterations, but that takes a long time. I want to tell it to tell, for instance, to start at measure 22 of verse 2 and play until I tell it to stop.
