In MS 3.0-dev, there has been a change to the "Symbols" section of the Master palette, subdividing it according to symbol type. However, there are some problems:

  1. When the user clicks on "Symbols," there is no corresponding display in the right-hand panel. This needs to be corrected to display all symbols (as it did in MS 2).

  2. The search function only looks for elements within the selected Symbols subcategory. You cannot do a search of the whole repository, even if "Symbols" is selected. A search needs to scan the whole "Symbols" section.

IMV, major because two features in MS 2 are no longer working in MS 3.0-dev.
