OS: Windows 10 (10.0), Arch.: x86_64, MuseScore version (64-bit): 3.0.0, revision: db594ae

Steps:
1) New score filled with a few notes in two voices, and with added eg dynamics, lyrics, fingering etc.

Or load the test file: filter test.mscz

2) Select the first measure
3) In Selection Filter, untick Voice 1 or Voice 2, or other added element

Unexpected result: nothing is unselected.

I agree it's a problem and needs to be addressed for beta, but for the record, the selection filter is actually working, as you can see if you then try to copy and paste. It just isn't updating the display of what is selected.
