Request for "R" command to function on single selection

From feedback form:

Pressing "R" to repeat a single note only works when the note has a box around it (so when a note is blue you still have to press "Shift + Down Arrow" to put a box around that individual note). However, the "R" command should work at all times. It's one of the most useful features when quickly writing a score that has the same note durations throughout.

My note - indeed, it doesn't work to click a note in normal mode and hit R. It does work to press R in note input mode, FWIW.
