  1. Whenever you pause the playback and try to start from where you left off, the software glitches to the beginning.
  2. When I try and take some tracks off of the "solo" setting, I cannot hear the play (even though nothing is muted) and I have to put every track in solo mode, just to have a decent playback.

  1. Can't reproduce. Score? Version? OS?
  2. If you take all tracks off solo, they will all play. If you have only a few tracks on solo, only those will play. Solo mutes everything that isn't marked solo, as long as anything is marked solo. Unless I'm missing something, that's as designed.

This sounds like the known and already-fixed issues with playback of parts, possibly combined with some misunderstanding of the "solo" function.
