I want to put a repeat sign after beat 3 instead of beat 4 [4/4 time]. In the past [MS2] I was able to manually drag the repeat sign to the proper place, so I did that: resulting in a crash. Another way I used to do this was to highlight a note and double click the repeat, and it would insert where I wanted it--this too results in a crash. I will try the method Mike 320 suggested in my forum post, but that sounds a bit cumbersome, too.

As to the pallette problem: the box to click for basic/advanced is too low and results in it being hidden below the bottom of the screen. I have to drag the pallette upwards, covering the tab for the title, in order to click for advanced. Is it possible to shorten this pallette so "basic/advanced" again appears at the bottom of the screen, as in MS2?

For the cursor problem I explained in my forum topic: the cursor sometimes forgets to advance, resulting in rests instead of the notes I input. I find if I click the right arrow key, I can manually advance the cursor, but this is a major problem throughout a piece.
I know how much work this all is, and I appreciate it immensely!

From forum topic https://musescore.org/en/node/280832. Limited this report to the crash. I could not make this happen using the stable release. You need to attach a score where this happens.

Workaround is explained in the original thread.
