The culprit was measure 23 top staff (tied Ab):
Something weird about tpc/tpc2 here (and also perhaps "event" pitch 0 ontime/len?, here clearly not my cup of tea!) :) And layout?
Via the score, the issue is solved only by selecting one Ab, and do: arrow up -> arrow down (and by re-adding a flat, start measure if wished).
The score was created with 2.1. You can reproduce the crash with this passage (select Ab -> enter Figured bass -> Escape -> Crash: or with Lyrics, Chords, Rehearsal Mark): file test.mscz
But I cannot reproduce from scratch with the current 3.x dev. and an exact copy of the file above ie: test scratch.mscz
So, considering these two points (not reproductible and former score): probably not deserves more.
See the repaired file: II. Repaired_Siciliano_(doloroso).mscz
I leave decision to developpers for close, or not, or not yet.
Thanks, I fixed that measure and now the figuring is ok. A little scary that a bug in measure 23 can break measure 4. What does "tpc" stand for?
Tonal pitch class
See https://musescore.org/en/plugin-development/tonal-pitch-class-enum
Doesn't crash for me with this scenario since version 3.1.
