  1. open file
  2. put the text "fill" in a fixed position (like in png attached)
  3. save it and reopen it again
  4. text moves (or measure sizes change?!?!).

sometimes even while moving the text around (while clicking the mouse), the measure widths change constantly (after releasing the mouse click).

From what I can tell, the real problem is that the width of repeat measures changes between save and reload sometimes, and actually does so kind of randomly while editing the score too, even during playback.

Just ran into this today. Add a measure repeat to an empty bar in the default empty score, then click it and add staff text. The measure grows wider. Delete the text and it stays wider. Delete line breaks and it stays wide. Edit the text and it grows narrower. Simialr results in 3.0.5 and current master (3.1).
