On another score, all the instruments were listed in mixer. I removed some and clicked undo - only a few instruments appeared in the mixer - plus, the settings changed.

cheng lung, mixer works for me in 1.0 pre 2, r. 3949. Please give complete steps to reproduce your bug in a new thread.

In windows 7 the mixer does not display. You can see the focus change from the main program but the mixer dialog does not appear.
surely does for me, Windows 7 too, MuseScore 1.3 as well as the latest nightly build
