Change note duration

Hi again , I come back to my last remark and your response. I tried to find the keyboard settings in preference on MuseScore, but I did not find it. I would like to inform you that I'm using a MacBook Air for your program. I even contacted Apple's Helpline, but we could not solve the problem. So, I can't use shift to change the note duration. What to do?
