Hello,
I created this score with multiple every instruments over the last few days and, upon saving/closing/re-opening, all my instruments (which show fine on the score) now sound like pianos when using the playback feature: The bass notes have piano sounds, so do the trumpet/bass/etc.
Could you please advise? I am a Berklee student and recent MuseScore user (love it!) , but need to find a solution since I am currently using the software for weekly graded assignments for my Bachelor's degree.

This was a known problem in version 3.0.3, you need to upgrade. You might as well go for the 3.1 beta since it's better than any 3.0.x version. See https://musescore.org/en/3.1beta
Thank you. Downloaded. Problem solved (so far at least)!
Keep an eye out in the forums for the official 3.1 release expected in a couple of weeks, you won't get a notification in the program...I don't think.
