Add a hairpin to a score (it will be in edit mode) press tab 3 times and press shift+an arrow key to adjust the end of the hairpin. Nothing happens because focus has moved somewhere else in the program. Pressing ESC returns focus to the hairpin and allows you to edit the hairpin.
