#274863: [EPIC] Importing <= 1.14 version scores to 3.0
I don't know what's special about this score.
MuseScore 3 does not have direct support to assure proper import of version 1 scores. Version 1 scores should first be imported to version 2 if there are issues importing them to version 3.
Interesting...I remember a discussion on Telegram about abandoning support for version 1 scores and yet there is an Epic issue for version 1 import. I'm confused.
My own modus operandi is actually importing into series 2 and copy the content into new scores (I made a remastering guide that would help others ensure the best result for theirs); I spent a bit of time doing this for a few hundred scores.
I wasn't sure myself whether support for these files would continue (I seem to remember someone mentioning this wouldn't be the case), but I started posting stuff after seeing the 'Epic'. The situation seems this: most issues have been addressed, and it's looking like only half a dozen are left; if they're fixable, it might be worth investing some time? Not everyone will have 2.3.2 installed, etc.
I think we should leave these open until someone in charge says otherwise.
MuseScore 3 does have direct 1.x support, as long as it does, it should work.
