Bug: measure keeps getting longer everytime i press any button

I have a piece i've been working on for a while and now there is a bug that one measure or a couple of measures are getting longer every time i press a button. It doesn't matter which button i press, i can just play the piece and that meassure get's a little bit longer. I might be working on a whole different part of the piece. But that one measure is just growing and growing. This doens't stop and as a result, the measure can grow up to litterally a meter or two. The issue resets if i close the piece and reopen it, but then it starts all over again. The bug is so annoying that i really can't work on the piece anymore.
