I'm on Arch Linux 64bit, using Muscescore 3.4.2-Release, the version packaged inside Arch. The Palettes menu doesn't appear and instead an empty box appears. Attached is a screenshot showcasing the problem. I've tried restarting but that didn't do the trick. I found this older question (https://musescore.org/en/node/296082) which has the same issue, and it was resolved by installing two packages: qt5-graphicaleffects and qt5-quickcontrols. Sadly, I already have these packages so it wouldn't be useful. If it helps, also attached is a log of Musescore's console output as it opens. Anyone have any ideas as to why this is happening?
If this issue was fixed in 3.5, do let me know as well.

Moight still be a duplicate of #296082: Palettes completely invisible and unusable in Ubuntu 18.04, using AppImage
Try using an AppImage, like one from 3.5RC
I downloaded the latest AppImage and the issue is fixed there. MIght the fix simply not have been packaged into the Arch Linux distribution yet?
Probably
