Controlling playback remotely
Can Musescore playback be controlled by a remote program using simple commands like "Set Measure #", "Start", "Stop", etc.

Check MIDI remote control, in Edit > Preferences > Note Input
MuseScore also supports the OSC interface for remote control.

Thanks for the heads-up on OSC. I'll look into it.
Before I close - what is the most appropriate forum for this sort of discussion. I have a series of related questions to discuss about using Musescore for a virtual choir.

If it's really about a specific feature or (possible) bug, then use the support subforum.
For anything else, here in general is just fine.
Most volunteers (if not all of them) read all of the forum posts anyway.
