Tails and flags on quavers, semiquavers
The new font generally looks good, though I wonder if the tails on semiquavers, demisemiquavers etc. should all join up at the back end. This gives a set of closed spaces at the back of the note, whereas a small gap between each curved tail would leave the notes open.
Some composers prefer straight tail flags - which avoid this issue - anyway.
That's just my view though - not sure that it would be better, but it's a suggestion.
[sorry - this is a almost a copy of a post on the general discussion section - it's been pointed out to me that this is the right section for this kind of comment.]

You might want to watch Martin's video on the new font where he goes into issues with the flags at some length. I would summarize it as, yes, I think they did spend more than a little time thinking about details like this and doing what they thought was best; the results are not an accident. But best is of course subjective.

I have already watched Martin's video which is very interesting. I know of at least one composer who has stated he prefers straight flags - but then that presumably could be another font set. I don't know Musescore well enough to know whether it can work with more than one music font set, or even if it's possible to mix music font sets. That might be something that people would appreciate, and could accommodate a variety of designs, just as I don't always set printed text in Times Roman, or Helvetica, or Garamond etc.

You can't mix them and only have a limited choice, Emmentaler, Bravura, Petaluma, MuseJazz, Gonville and Leland, only the builtin ones.
