Guitar tab not working when the guitar has a drop D tuning

I have just tried to put in a guitar piece with a drop D tuning but also with Tab as well as the score for a student. I could easily get musescore to accept the Drop D tuning for the bass string but when it was put onto the tab, the tab would only show open string notes and would ignore any other notes played on that string as if they were not there. The tab has not only ignored the the note played on string six it has incorrectly put it onto string one. I have attached a picture so that you can see. The piece also has crashed a few times because of this.
Can anyone help with this?
