When working with larger divisions of the octave it is sometimes necessary to play small intervals, but MuseScore appears to play intervals below a certain size (I'm guessing 50 cents) as a single pitch.

To reproduce, create a chord consisting of a middle C detuned by +9.68 cents and another middle C (or D doubleflat) detuned by +48.39 cents. This interval (38.71 cents, one step of 31EDO) is significantly larger than the just-noticeable difference of 5-10 cents, but MuseScore plays only one pitch despite being capable of playing both pitches individually. Whether the chord occurs on one stave or across multiple (e.g. a piano great stave) makes no difference.

Comments

Currently every played note will cancel a previous note with same pitch on the same channel. You could try to use different channels on different staves ( or a note with different pitch, for example a cis which is tuned down by 100cent - offset).
