window pops up and can't interact with it

opening older file
popup window asks if I want to update layout and font and whatnot
the popup window is bigger than the screen, with no ability to scroll or resize the window, meaning I cannot see "submit" or "ok" or "decline" or whatever the option buttons are supposed to be
eventually I clicked somewhere on the window and hit enter and it disappeared and I think maybe the document opened?

Looks like WIndows is doing some scaling of the interface that is isn't reporting to MuseScore as expected. If you are otherwise happy with the scaing Windows is doing for other apps, then best to fix it for MuseScore by finding the EXE file for MuseScore in Program File, right-clicking it, and setting the compatibility / high DPI method to "System" to "SYstem (enhanced)". Then things won't be so weirdly sized.
