"A picture is worth a 1000 words": The fractional beams in the following score end so near to the next stem that the gap is almost invisible:
The fractional beam should push away the next stem by (I'd say) at least half of its length.
To reproduce: Import MIDI from item https://musescore.org/en/node/334484; and look into measures 43 and following.
Workaround: Fiddle with the distance for each note that is too near.

IIRC this has been fixed for MuseScore 4 meanwhile
Please try out MuseScore 4 Alpha 2 or the latest nightly build

Where is the "MIDI quantification fiddling dialog" in MS4 - I need it for an acceptable import of that MIDI? (I found it very helpful in MS3 that it was "just there" - in MS4 I have now been searching it for 3 minutes and still haven't found it :-( ... is there a new concept behind this "clearer UI" where you always find such helper dialogs? ... see also my question on where to the MIDI controls in the mixer have vanished)

No idea, but that seems unrelated to the issue at hand here, doesn't it?

Well, I need it before I want to read the score ... but well, I just realize that, accidentally, these notes might be imported readably ... let me look ...
... yes, in MS4, they are fine:
