deep space between staff in first
I've cut and paste this score 3 times to a new page and still what ever is invisible is ruining my score.

Seems like you're using an older version of MuseScore...
Look at measure 4, bass clef. There's a stem missing on the first note of voice 2 (C3).
The stem can be seen above measure 14. Click it and, in the Inspector, reset the 'Offset' by clicking on the curved arrow on the right.

Select measure 4 of the bass clef and use menu item: Format > Reset Shapes and Positions
If opening in MuseScore 4...
Press Ctrl+A to select everything. Then use menu item: Format > Reset shapes and positions.
