GET RID OF THE NEW PERCUSSION NOTATION
This is not up for debate. I shouldn't have to drag a minimized screen out everytime I work back on percussion; those that aren't familiar with hotkeys are now infuriated and unmotivated to keep working with percussion instruments because of this reason alone. I ALSO shouldn't have to change the (for ex.) cymbal sound. On top of that, the Drumline is still being hidden! The instruments AND SOUND SAMPLES should be automatically put in said instruments. This is a very unprofessional way to handle Percussion; White people you need to take care of your rhythmic foundation, otherwise the people that have been using this software for years will start to drift off somewhere else. Did that last sentence offend anyone? That's how I feel using this disorganized, vague, and unmemorable current percussion system.

You have to get rid of it yourself!
Follow this menu path:
Edit > Preferences > Percussion > Legacy panel > Use legacy percussion panel [enable]

And your specific comments may well be sound and valid:
- I shouldn't have to drag a minimized screen out every time I work back on percussion
- I shouldn't have to change the (for ex.) cymbal sound
- on top of that, the Drumline is still being hidden
- the instruments AND SOUND SAMPLES should be automatically put in said instruments
What you can do is to put together a detailed proposal of how percussion input should be handled in MuseScore Studio. The correct forum for a new feature is the Feature Request forum: https://musescore.org/en/forum/7
If your ideas are sensible and constructive, you will get positive feedback.
And (by the way), see the existing thread Fixing the new percussion panel in that Feature Request forum:

Personally, I don't like the idea of a drum palette at all. Not this one or the old one. It makes me not want to write for drums at all. Unless I'm ready to beat my head against the wall. In Sibelius I can just enter notes on a staff for 80% of what I want. Very fast and easy.

Yes, just now I saw how to keep it from opening. We shall see.
