Instrument Pane/panel ?
I recently upgraded to ver 4.5.1. I don't see what I expect anymore, e.g
- all my staves are not shown (linked TAB)
- visible "button" for each staff

I don't have v2 or 4.5.1. But I do have 3.6.2 and 4.5.2.
Your score looks the same in both. A guitar staff and linked tab staff. Visibility is now in the layout tab on the left. You've got some reading to do.

read'n to do.....well, I guess so, but I wouldn't know where to begin, musical styles, notations & instruments are so VASTLY different, and, ya don't know what's changed that you use (as opposed to stuff that's changed that you never touch).
And, sorry to say, that trying to "search" the "document guide" is useless. too too many false hits.
Fortunately, putt'n a Q (or three) into this forum most often gives good results,
such as yours.

Consider downloading the manual as a PDF, then use Acrobat's "Find" function. Seems to work better.
