pickup measures display okay in score but parts show full bar rest
In my score I have started with a one crotchet pickup, adjusted the bar properties to display as 1/4 but in the parts they display as a full bar which causes confusion in rehearsal. Anyway to change this without actually adding a random cue note.

For this first MM Rest in parts, you can uncheck "Show Number" (the 1) in the Properties, but this doesn't change the fact that in the main score, the anacrusis is indicated as expected by a quarter rest, while in the parts it's a measure rest that's displayed. It's all so inconsistent and confusing.

Well, I think it's a regression (I'm checking and I see that with 4.4.0, the behavior is different and as expected, i.e. the quarter rest (anacrusis) is displayed in the main score and in the parts. I'm continuing my investigation and will have to file a bug report on Github.
EDIT: the change occurs with version 4.5 (and is still the same behaviour with the latest Nightly)

Thanks, That's done it but I have to change the setting in every part individually, unless there is a way to do that in one go?

There's a button at the bottom of the style dialog, "Apply to all parts"

Excellent, changed this in the score and it changed all unopened parts, so I had to just close all open parts and apply the setting. Thank you, should be automatic though.
