None of the time signatures I enter manually (right click>time signature properties) show up correctly in scores with the 2.0 beta. The first file I've attached shows that 7/8 and 4/4 (or 8/8) time signature show up as the same in-score, with 8 quarter notes. The second image is my Time Signature Properties screen (in case I'm doing something wrong there) and the third image is how 7/8 time should look. Has anyone else experienced this?

Are you are talking about only the special case where you have different time signatures on different staves? It's hard to tell from just a picture - posting the actual score and describing step by step what you are doing is always preferable.

There have definitiely been bugs in how the beaming worked, but everything I've tried lately works fine. Do try a current nightly build instead of the beta - that's pretty old at this point. If you still have problems, please post the score and steps to reproduce the problem.

BTW, there is no one "correct" beaming for 7/8 time; it depends on the specific piece. But if 1+1+1+2+2 is what you want (as implied by the picture you call correct, which looks weird to me), then you have no set up the properties correctly. You need to click the notes in the middle of the screen to actually get the beams to break and join where you want.

No, it happens every time, regardless of whether I have more than one stave or different time signatures; the 4/4 stave was just for comparison. I wasn't looking for correct "beaming" (and sorry for using the word correct, but it was 3AM and I was frustrated lol); in the Musescore picture, there are literally eight quarter notes per measure instead of seven.
I somehow hadn't known about nightly builds, I'll check those out!

Then as I asked before, can you attach the score you are having problems with and /or describe step by step instructions on how to reprioduce the problem? 7/8 works fine for me when I create it normally. I go to the master palette, create a new 7/8 time signature, then drag it to my score, so it affects all staves. Your picture clearly shows 7/8 and 4/8 at the same time, and that indeed is not going to work. But you say it doesn't work even when setting all staves at once. Again, this should be done by creating a new 7/8 in the master palette then dragging it to your score. I'm guessing you've been trying something else, but I can't figure out what would have led to your "global time signature" being set to 49/64!
