1. Open attached score (produced in 1.3).
2. Drag 'Instrument' from 'Text' palette to the first note of bar 2.
3. 'View'>'Mixer'.
4. Change the sound of the new entry (e.g. recorder).
5. Close 'Mixer'.
6. Drag 'Instrument' from 'Text' palette to the first note of bar 3.
7. Click on the first note of bar 2.

Expected result: Recorder sound.
Actual result: Saw Wave sound.

Notes:

This is also reproducible in a 2.0 score.
Despite the actual result, Recorder is listed in Mixer.

Using MuseScore 2.0 Nightly Build f1d882a - Mac 10.7.5.

These are all the steps? It works as expected for me on Ubuntu. Is this behavior new for you, or was it this was in Beta 2 or any other earlier builds? Is it only clicking notes that give the wrong sound? Is it only the first note of bar 2 that has the problem or any note in bar 2? What happens if you actually play the score? What about if you change the sound in the mixer? Only this score or any score?

Yes, I believe so.

It works as expected for me on Ubuntu.
Let's see if anyone else can reproduce.

I don't have nightly builds prior to the reported one, but the behaviour in beta 2 is different in comparison: Step 7 shows the expected result, but then the first note of bar 3 sounds piano, despite having recorder in its Mixer entry.

Is it only clicking notes that give the wrong sound? Is it only the first note of bar 2 that has the problem or any note in bar 2? What happens if you actually play the score?
Both clicking and playback produce the wrong sound in all of bar 2 (and bar 3).

What about if you change the sound in the mixer?
The behaviour is fine then.

Only this score or any score?
It's reproducible in the score I posted for this: #41976: Sounds of other entries shift after applying Instrument change in 1.3 score

OK, but is it *any* score or just certain 1.3 scores? How about a score created from scratch? One with just a single instrument, or are multiple instruments necessary?
