Window size not saved when using the "Maximise" button on OS X
After clicking the green button on MuseScore’s main window and thereby maximising, the window size is not saved. Upon relaunch of MuseScore, the application reverts to a quite small window which seems to be the default size (see attached screenshot of the small window).
Windows sizes are saved when resizing the window manually. Curiously, this however is not the case when clicking "maximise" afterwards and before re-launching. Upon relaunch, MuseScore does not revert to the window size set manually but to the default small window.
Other OS X apps do save the window size after maximising the window so that would be expected behaviour.
This is with the MuseScore 2 release candidate on OS X 10.9.5. The screen resolution is 1280 x 800 with a synchronised external 1680 x 1050 monitor.

I have been trying to confirm whether this is a regression from the beta but I haven’t been able to download it. Can somebody give me a hint? I’d like to avoid having to build from source.
You can find the betas here:

Thanks, ABL.
After having reverted to factory settings for both, I have checked beta 2 and the previous stable version, 1.3. The issue is reproducible with beta 2 but not with 1.3.
So the issue represents a regression from 1.3.
