Volume Output Isn't Working
On 9/6/15 I downloaded the newest update for Musescore onto my mac and for some reason when I press "play back," no sound is heard. The highlighted bar still moves, but nothing comes out of my computer's speakers. Any idea why this is and can it be fixed? I've tried fiddling with the volume and playback panels already and nothing changed.

When you open the Synthesizer , is there no SoundFont loaded? If something is messed up about your installation, it will almost certainly be fixed by reverting to factory settings .
Also, for the future, it's preferable to bring things like this to the support forums instead of filing a bug report.
If the revert does not fix it - which it probably will - please start a thread in the Support forum and tell us what soundfont you see loaded and also what settings you see in Edit / Preferences / I/O.
