Beamed notes: Using "X" to flip note deactivates Inspector "stem direction" and vice versa
Open a score with beamed notes in it, or create your own (say, beamed 1/8th notes).
1. Click on a beamed note and use "X" to flip the stem direction.
Result: The note group stems flip.
But look at the "stem direction" field of the Inspector. It has not updated.
2. Now select a beamed note in a different group. Use the Inspector "stem direction" to flip the stem.
Result: The note group stems flip.
Press "X." Nothing happens. You have to deselect then reselect the note to reactivate the shortcut.
Unbeamed notes do not seem to be affected by this issue.

That's because, for a beamed note, it's the beam direction that you're flipping, and relative to the beam the stem direction is still "auto." Select the beam and you'll see this in the Inspector. Likewise, clicking a beamed note and changing the stem direction in the Inspector won't work because the note has to go with the beam. Click the beam and change its direction instead.
