The current version of Microtune plugin (version 0.1) does not does not affect the playback sound in MuseScore 9.6.3 in Windows XP.

Comments

Thanks David for the sample. It helped me figure out that the file needs to be saved before the microtones take effect. Also, to remove a microtonal accidental from a note, one has to delete the intended note with microtonal accidental and renter the note because deleting the Microtonal accidental alone does not work.

Here is an update for the microtune tuning and it should work with MuseScore 1.0.
Btw, if you had presets for this plugin, you should delete them, since they will not work anymore.

Edit : removed buggy file

Title Micro-interval tuning plugin does not affect playback Micro-interval tuning plugin accidentals bug

From the defult setings [v. 1.0] I chose three that were -150¢ and put thim side by side on three C4. two were alike. Two were correct
I changed the seting on the one that sounded diferent from - to + no effect

I chose two that were 150¢ and put them side by side on two C4 both were diferent. One was correct

Could be a mapping problem.

I loaded the latest V1.0 and used what was there. [The plugin is now in V 1.0T] I do not know of any preset up date for this.

This is how i did it; i placed the accidentals then i went to the plugin and clicked Apply.

Where do i get the find the preset up date?

Thank you,

I do not understand this comment. I did make some changes to see if the changed pich on some of thim; dose this make the up date? But the defult values are not as the say. E.g. all the ones that are -150¢ do not sound the same when placed on the same note.
Thank you,

I have this problem of it appears, but it says that I need to upgrade to a more recent version of MuseScore in order to use it, even though I have the latest version--1.0.

Please ignore this--I got it working, but I do not know how to undo the tuning.
