about writing by keybord

Hello,
I want to write the note by keybord but even if I selected (N), I could'nt use the keybord...
How do I have to do?

僕も経験がありますがWindowsの場合、パソコンの具合で、音符入力のNが反応しないことがあります。MuseScoreを再起動する、もしくはパソコン自体を再起動することで改善することがあります。

My comment from yesterday did not post for some reason.

I suggest you click the N under the New Score icon and make sure the first radio button is selected. This put note input in Step-time mode. If you find the second radio button is selected, you may consider removing the shortcut ctrl+shift+i from the preferences, since this selects re-pitch mode. This prevents any new notes or rests from being entered. You can only change notes in this mode. So you know, in edit->Preferences->Shortcuts, Re-pitch mode, like all note input modes, is listed under a description of what it does.
