  1. Open a score
  2. Add a custom workspace, by clicking the + at the bottom of the palettes, give it a name then hit Save
    Note: this switches to that new workspace
  3. View > Workspaces > Delete (keeping the current/new one selected)

-> crash

MuseScore 3.2.3, Windows 7

After the restart that new workspace is gone, this might qualify as a workaround ;-)
Does not happen on 2.3.2, so a regression. Not sure whether this ever worked in MuseScore 3

Comments

Definitely worked until recently. I don't get a useful stack trace, so no insight except to suspect it's related to recent changes involving changing workspaces and plugins.

Fix typo in issue title.

I have used the MDL 1.3 this morning, after some uses (I am not percussionnist) I decide to uninstall.
- Custom MDL workspace activated
- Click Uninstall in Ressource manager
- Crash
- Restart MuseScore, has been leave in Basic Workspace with some toolsbar misplaced, and others unselected.

Severity S2 - Critical S1 - Blocker
Priority P0 - Critical

Also I've now ended up in the Basic workspace, and every attempt to switch to any other results in a crash
