When vertical page layout is choosen in preferences, multi-page documents aren't scrolled correctly when playing, especially when jumping back for repeats or cyclic playback. First loop is played correctly, with current position shown on the screen. But after a jump back, all pages becomes glued to the bottom of the window, no matter how far on the top the current position is, which result in current position being invisible. There's no way to scroll the score manually either, as musescore immediately scrolls the page back so bottom becomes "glued" again.

More or less confirmed; I've seen this several times, but have never been able to figure out how to reproduce it. Could you provide precise step-by-step instructions to see the problem?

The issue can be seen with, I think, any score which spans multiple pages, the necessary condition is that on 2nd page (let's talk about 2nd page only, the same applies to 3rd and subsequent pages), there are more notes text than fits on the screen (change scale to some 200% to make sure). Now, select all measures on this 2nd page for playback, enable loop mode, and play. First loop will be scrolled correctly, second loop (after jump to the beginning) will show the mentioned behavour: 2nd page is glued to the bottom of the window, no matter where the current playing position is.

Select "vertical page alignment" in the preferences too :)

Got it:

1. Preferences > Canvas > Scroll Pages Vertically.
2. My First Score, add a page break at the third-from-last line.
3. Select measures on last page, click loop button.
4. Zoom to 200%.
5. Play.
