Can someone tell me how to (or point me to the correct section of the handbook) to change a sequence of 1/16-1/8-1/16 to 3 triplets?

It seems that pressing CMD-3 inserts new triplets which isn't exactly what I want to do.
Thanks.

If I select all three notes then press CMD-3, i get 9 triplets, not 3. Sorry, but that's not what I want. Basically the rhythm is wrong on the notes on the page and I'd like to change them to triplets. I'd like to keep the notes the same ( A B C etc) but change the rhythm. (1/16-1/8-1/16 to triplets).

Hi Jojo, that's really too bad as I have 50 or so of these to do, and they are all pretty complex cords. It is hard to believe this is impossible. it seems possible to change quarter notes to half notes, etc, by selecting the note and pressing the half-note icon.

The original problem was that I imported a midi file, and not sure why but it the import lost the triplets. I didn't notice it until I got well into the piece. I.e., after editing lots of stuff on the first couple of pages, I notice on the 3rd page that all the triplets are missing.
