Musescore will consistently crash when inserting notes of small values:
1. Create a new score
2. Change note input mode to insert
3. Change note value to 1024th note
4. Click in the first bar to insert a 1024th note

This happens for any note values equal to or smaller than the 256th note.

Workaround:
If measures need to be created with extra notes of these smaller values, first insert a note/rest of a higher value, select it and click on the smaller value you want, and delete the excess notes/rests that you don't want (Ctrl+backspace).

Side note:
Is this perhaps caused by some limitation for the smallest length of notes allowed in a bar?
Editing the rhythmic values of a bar in the bar properties dialog limits the smallest subdivision to 64th notes.

Reported version 3.6 3.5

Using a 128th duration and the Q shortcut, repeatedly, to change to 1024th does indeed cause a crash, and also in 3.5.2
So if it is a regression, it isn't a recent one
