How to fix a "Shift+Y" error?
Hi. I am writing a new score adapted from an old movie (Star Wars). In the title, I wanted to capitalize the letter "y" to "Y". So, I typed "Shift Y" on the keyboard of a PC as usual. However, I got an error message reading, "Command-synth control not valid in current state". I could not capitalize the letter "Y". Here are screenshots of both options:

Check Edit > Preferences > Shortcuts > Synthesizer and make sure that Shift+Y isn't used there

Thanks. I must have created a Shift+Y shortcut some time ago. I deleted it and I no longer get the error message. Thanks again.
