For playback, i would like the voices/parts to scroll to the right in sync.
Like a smooth financial stock ticker. But instead, it would be the sheet music that is scrolling.

So instead of multiple pages of sheet music and a moving cursor, you would just have one page.
All of the voices would scroll smoothly along a timeline.

Essentially, the cursor would be fixed in one place and the sheet music itself would scroll. When the note touches the fixed cursor, then that note is played.

This would allow the user to not have to constantly look from left-to-right and then up-and down.
You could just look at your monitor in one place and the music itself would scroll. So you would never need to constantly move your eyes and head to follow the sheet music.

Examples of horizontal scrolling are here:

The piano roll feature already has smooth scrolling where the page moves continuously in the window. No 'leap frogging'. Would it be possible to adapt this feature for playback? I would think the programmers could use the piano roll code as a basis and apply it to playback.
I have no idea how difficult this could be, but I think it would be easier than trying to develop a whole new module.
I think this feature takes new urgency in the era of worldwide quarantine. We are now using various internet video tools to a much greater extent than before.
