Multi-line hairpins
Hairpins” need to work as slurs and ties do. That is, if they are continued to a new system or staff, they should reappear at the beginning of the new staff, and their appearance should change: when a crescendo hairpin (<) is continued on a new staff, it should be slightly open at the left end (to show that it is a continuation.)

this works like described above
To extend a hairpin to a new system, double click the hairpin and use Ctrl + right to extend it. The hairpin will exactly follow what you describe.
I close the bug.
i know the page says it works, but i have tried the ctrl-right thing and it just continued into the right margin of the page. i'm at a loss.
Try shift-right. It worked for me. Ctrl-right seems to micro-adjust the hairpin.
still goes into the margin.
and i do have 1.0, so don't feel the need to ask me if i've updated.
Yes, it goes into the margin, but on the next shift-right keypresses mine extended into the next system. This was in 1.0 and 1.1.
Hi jordanjaprice
Could you try the nightly builds to see if you encounter the same problem (if you feel it wasn't resolved)?
It seems the hairpin is slightly open on the second line - unless there's something else I'm missing (the margin thing)?
Using MuseScore 2.0 Nightly Build (d5f451c) - Mac 10.7.4.
Works for me.
