Preferences won't stay
None of the preferences I select are remaining after I close MuseScore.
Examples: On the General tab, I change from "Start with score" to "Start empty", and I uncheck "Show splash screen" and "Show start center". When I close and reopen the program, those selections are back to what they were. On the "Canvas" tab, I change "Scroll pages" to "Vertically", but they go back to "Horizontally". What is the point of having selections for how MuseScore starts, if it just goes back to the default, and doesn't open according to my preferences?

Could this be a permission issue, not beeing allowed to write the changed settings?
Definitely sounds like permissions - like you don't have write permission in your own AppData folder. Which would be very weird but it's there only thing I can think of that would cause this.
