Large space at beginning of score due to addition of TAB symbol

See attached score (staff/tab). An extra large space is visible at the start of the anacrusis. The TAB symbol in the tablature staff has also become displaced.

Investigating a little further, the problem seems to be that too much space is being added after the TAB symbol (which was added from the Symbols master palette). See attached score for further confirmation.
The problem is the very large horizontal offset you applied to that symbol. While in this particular case it seems clear you didn't intend the spacing to be handled the way it was, I'm not sure how things should work generally in such cases. Other times you'd probably want spacing to adjust as it did here. Probably it would have been better to have attached the symbol to something other than a note, if that were supported. Or we could have a checkbox in Inspector to exempt an element from affecting spacing.

Symbols should not change the horizontal spacing. Thats only for lyrics and probably chord symbols.
Automatically closed -- issue fixed for 2 weeks with no activity.
Issue still active at: #142126: Addition of TAB clef (from palette) throws clefs (and key sigs?) out of position
