1. Create 1 bar score.
2. Drag-select the bar.
3. Delete Selected Measures.

Result: Crash.

Discussion: You may have to click on the score after step 3 for it to crash.

Comments

I've had a couple of crashes with Delete Select Measures, but they've featured more than one bar. However, I can't find a cause, so forgive the slightly vague title - I'm hoping it'll cover the problem altogether.

Alternatively after step 3:

'Play.'

or

Wait a few moments (click another program perhaps?). Perhaps instead, the reason for this is just a delayed reaction to the two actions (playing or clicking).

I've created a 1-bar piano score and deleted that bar. No crashes. No playing problems. However, you can't insert new measures because you ca't select any (that's a bit silly, in fact the whole thing is a bit silly), but you can append them.

I've then appended 100 measures and done some experiments. The new measures seem to be completely functional. No crashes.

Then.... can we say it's fixed??

It's a bit difficult, but I reproduced - here's the crash log .

1. Create one-bar score.
2. Drag-select the bar.
3. 'Delete Selected Measures'.
4. Drag the page around.

Result: Crash.

Title [Trunk] Delete Selected Measures causes crash Delete Selected Measures and dragging page causes crash

I can still reproduce - close to the steps in #5, but more specific.

1. Create score with 1 bar.
2. Drag-select everything.
3. 'Delete Selected Measures'.
4. Wait a few seconds.
5. Move page.

Result: Crash.

Discussion: See crash log (should contain more details this time, apparently).
