Can't export to .wav file Eugene Lu • Dec 25, 2016 - 07:06 Reported version 2.1 Type Graphical (UI) Severity S4 - Minor Status closed Project MuseScore OS: Mac OS X 10.10.5 I did select to export to .wav file, but I got a .ogg file, not .wav file. Can you add a "Export to .mp3" option? GIT commit: 6347ed6 Reply Comments Jojo-Schmitz • Dec 25, 2016 - 07:49 This export to mp3 is part of MuseScore since version 2.0.0, but you need to get libmp3lame.dylib, which MuseScore doesn't include due to licensing issues, see https://musescore.org/en/handbook/file-formats-0#mp3. There was a problem with the translations for several languages, resulting in mp3 not being listed, see #41496: MIDI exports as WAV, to fix this, simply update the translations, see https://musescore.org/en/handbook/language-settings-and-translation-upd….
